New Orleans Cemetery Tours - Lafayette Cemetery Walking Tour

French Quarter Easy Tour

“It is through history... that you can study people -- how they dealt with problems, and what the results of their actions... were.”

Stephen E. Ambrose, June 2002

New Orleans history and culture – Yes! You want to learn as much as you can about New Orleans from a well-informed guide, but you don’t want to beat your feet on the street.

Now there’s a French Quarter tour where you can have it all. You can be cool, have a place to sit when you get tired, and take a refreshment break. All these while you learn all about Creoles, pirates, free people of color and energetic residents who made New Orleans unique.

The cool and easy French Quarter tour includes admission to two museums -- the Cabildo and the Presbytere. Your tour starts at the Cabildo where France transferred Louisiana to the United States in 1803, and where the Louisiana State Supreme Court heard the historic Plessy v. Ferguson case.

After the Cabildo it’s off to the historic St. Louis Cathedral and then to the Presbytere for the history of Mardi Gras and a multi-media parade experience.

The French Quarter Easy Tour lasts for 2.5 to 3 hours and includes a short refreshment break. Tours are by appointment. A minimum of four is required for this tour. Cost is $35.00 per person.
